First children sweater is ready (finally) - and a little Birthday-blanket

 Right on time for Sophia's big birthday bash I finished the Doggie-sweater. This is the first sweater I knitted in years, was quiet an adventure, but I think, it came out OK. Actually, there is a hat to go with that sweater, but Sophia is not a hat-person, so I did not started the hat, will  ask her some other time, if she would like it.
The party was a blast. All her guests (cousins and friends from school and neighborhood) enjoyed being in  "My gym", the games and running around and of course: the Diego-cake.

    Hi meine liebe Gabi, zuerst bitte liebe Geburtstagsgrüße aus Deutschland für die kleine Sophie. Ein entzückendes kleines Mädchen. Der Pulli ist so süß - ein richtiges Freustück :-))). Die Torte sieht so toll aus. Hast Du die gemacht?

    Hallo Gabi, der Beilauffaden ist aus Mohairgarn. Dadurch wird das ganze noch ein bisschen - wie soll ich sagen - kuscheliger, voluminöser.
