My "Handywork" end of the year 2013

Here we go, already several month passed and no new post: so for this new year I will try to be more constant with my posts.

Still can not believe, that we have already January 2014.

Owl Hats

This are the Owl Hats I made for each of my 8 grand children, everyone in a different color.  I think, they turned out pretty nice.

Those little hats are knitted after a pattern from Katy Tricot.

Advents Kranz


Did not want to buy or make a real Adventskranz, they are drying out so fast. Then I saw a knitted one in the Net and started right away. The knitted wreath is filled with a straw wreath and decorated with tiny lights and a pretty red ribbon, the candles will fill out the middle. Looks nice and different like the standard "Adventskraenze", so I was asked to knit some for the next Christmas season for the family. 

Snowflakes on my door

Those Stars or snowflakes are crocheted after pattern from the book "100 Snowflakes to crochet" by Caitlin Sainio, the middle one from a pattern by Deborah Atkinson. 
Looking good on the brown front door.

A very nice way to use up all those reminings yarn ends. Can not wait for the end-product, will look so pretty (I hope)
